How to troubleshoot

Locate the issue, then check each layer

Connection issues often come from the local network, client permissions, an outdated subscription, or a route that does not match the target region. Change one condition at a time and verify again to identify the source more easily. For account, order, or refund matters, sign in to the user panel, submit a ticket, and include clear symptoms and order details.

Account

Account and subscriptions

Account setup, subscription updates, device changes, and account information.

What do I need to prepare to create a YRVPN account?

No email address is required. Set a username and password, preferably a username that is not reused on other websites, and store the password safely. After creating the account, open the user panel to view plans, get a client, and manage the subscription. When changing browsers or devices, sign in with the same username and password.

How should I update my subscription link?

Sign in to the user panel, get the current subscription again from the subscription or client download area, then update it in the client. If old routes still appear, remove the old configuration and import the current subscription again. Updating subscription data is not the same as buying a new plan; the key is having the client read the latest panel configuration.

Do I need to buy again after changing devices?

No. YRVPN has no device limit, and the same account can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. After changing devices, sign in to the user panel to get the suitable client and current subscription. When sharing a plan, remember that traffic from all devices is counted together for both monthly subscriptions and data packages.

How can I protect my account and subscription information?

Store your username, password, and subscription content securely. Do not publish them on public pages or import them into configuration tools from unknown sources. If you suspect that your information has been exposed, change the password first, get the subscription again from the user panel, and remove configurations you no longer use.

Connection

Connections and issues

Check the local network, subscription status, system permissions, and target website step by step.

What should I check first when the client cannot connect?

First confirm that the current network can open commonly used websites. Then check whether the client has read the latest subscription, whether the selected route can be changed, and whether network permissions have been granted. Disconnect fully and try another route. If none work, restart the client and import the subscription again to rule out leftover configuration data.

Why does only one app fail to use the accelerated route?

This is usually related to the client's traffic-routing mode, system proxy permissions, or the app's own network settings. First use a browser to verify whether the exit location has changed, then switch the client to a broader connection mode for testing. If the browser works but a particular app connects directly, check whether it uses a separate proxy, private network, or bypasses the system proxy.

What should I do if no routes appear after importing a subscription?

Confirm that you copied the complete subscription content currently provided in the user panel, and check for any format warning during import. Then update the subscription in the client. If the list remains empty, delete the configuration and import it again. Do not manually shorten or rewrite subscription content, or the client may save it without being able to parse its routes.

How should I troubleshoot a target website that remains unavailable after connecting?

Try another route in the same region to rule out a mismatch between one route and the target site's exit policy. Then clear the browser cache and site data for that website and open it again. If the site depends on account region, payment region, or an existing login session, changing the network exit may not change the account's own regional information.

Network

Speed and routes

Assess route performance by target region, network period, and device environment.

What should I do about buffering during peak hours?

Pause downloads, syncing, and system updates that use bandwidth, then choose a route closer to your current location or intended region. If the current route fluctuates during peak hours, compare another route in the same region. Match playback quality to current network conditions; stable playback is usually more practical than continuously seeking the highest quality.

Should I choose a route by region or by type?

Filter by the region where the target service is located, then compare the actual connection performance of different routes in that region. Everyday browsing prioritizes responsiveness and stability, streaming depends more on a matching exit region, and long downloads require sustained performance. Route type is one factor, but actual results on your current network matter most.

Why does the same route perform differently on different devices?

The device system, client configuration, local network, background tasks, and wireless conditions can all affect results. During troubleshooting, connect devices to the same network, pause other transfers, and confirm that the subscription version matches. If the difference remains, check network permissions, power-saving settings, and client routing rules before treating it as a route problem.

How broad is YRVPN's route coverage?

YRVPN covers 110+ countries and 230+ routes. Do not judge only by coverage totals; consider the target region, content, and current network conditions. Start by checking regions and route types on the route list page, then choose a route suited to the task in the client. Adjust the exit region when the target region changes.

Billing

Billing and refunds

Monthly subscriptions, data packages, plan upgrades, payment methods, and refund requests.

When does monthly subscription traffic reset?

Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date. Current monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Devices on the same account share the traffic, so on multiple devices, check total usage in the user panel rather than monitoring only one device.

How is a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade calculated?

For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated across the remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan, remaining status, and target plan in the user panel, then confirm the change. Monthly traffic still resets on the activation date. For a short-term increase, compare a data package with a monthly upgrade based on actual usage habits.

Do data packages expire?

Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Available options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They suit users with variable usage who prefer to consume data as needed, while monthly subscriptions reset on the activation date. Compare both billing methods based on usage frequency.

Which payment methods are supported, and how do I request a refund?

Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. YRVPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and request details for review. Read the refund policy first, confirm that the order information is complete, and keep the payment and plan records in the panel.
